Q. AC purchasing guidelines. Some Important point that should be consider.
A. My few cents for AC:
1) Go for Copper coil (Corrosion proof). Might be costlier but worth it.
2) For room size 12*10, 1 ton will suffice, unless Window is Sun facing during day time.
3) Prefer Split AC rather than Window as it consumes less Electricity( if both compared with same BEE rating 3 or 5 Star).
5) Inverter AC would be better if consumption is more than 7-8 hours/day. Off course if pocket allows.
- Invertor a.c. is costly and Maintenence cost is high
- Even 1 hour running of an Inverter AC would be cost effective but the running price difference won't beat the purchase price. So no point if consumption is less.
